On the bed of Procrustes

Pavlos Toulas was born in 1952 in Laliza, Municipality of Molossi, Ioannina (today Zitsa Municipality, Ioannina) and lives permanently in Souroti, Municipality of Thermi, Thessaloniki. He is a teacher by profession and a graduate of Pantei School, Department of Political Sciences. He was involved with the newspaper "Souroti", as editor-in-chief and in charge of content editing, for more than ten years (1987-1998). He continued only with a vignette, for about three years, in the newspaper "Thermis Dromena" (1999-2003). He collaborated and wrote articles, vignettes and current affairs in the Vasilikon Municipality magazine, "The Road" (2003-2005), in the local newspaper "Laliza" (Ioannina), in the magazine "Odos Panos", sometimes also in the aforementioned Thermi newspaper, as well and in the local newspaper "Orizando", of Epanomi. From August 2006 to 2010, he wrote articles for the newspaper "Auriani, Makedonias-Thrakis" and renewed his collaboration with "Horizon". In 2009, in the framework of the 27th Literary Competition of the Panhellenic Union of Writers, he was awarded for his work "My face" (essay). In the same year, he started writing articles for the local newspaper "Apopsi", published in Souroti, for the entire new Municipality of Thermi, as well as for the local newspaper "Ta Aidonia", of the cultural association of Palaiokastro, Halkidiki. He has been a member of the Panhellenic Union of Writers since 2010. Today he is exclusively engaged in his writing work.

11. The play "help from Hades", Thessaloniki, 2016. The book was awarded by the Panhellenic Union of Writers, on January 24, 2016.
