Κso that we can explain ourselves in every direction: in 1821 it was started by charioteers and thieves, together with the clergy of the Orthodox Church; that is, the poor faithful to God, the People, and not the flag-bearers; and they continued it together with the Philhellenes who raised up the whole of Europe and helped the Revolution morally and materially, even with personal sacrifice in some battle; and they completed it with the military and naval intervention of the great European powers - France, England, Russia. We must honor them, all of us, government, committees, citizens, without elitist moods and aristocratic choices, which do not suit the Great Revolution of 1821.
In 1821, it must inspire us and guide us, not only in our national life, but also in our personal life. With the events for 1821, we have a great opportunity for all of us - government and citizens - to return to our roots, to our ideals, to our faith in orthodoxy, to honesty and non-profit, to hard work, to a common effort to raise the state and our country higher, from an economic, social, cultural, political and military point of view.
