An opinion by Berthold Auerbach "Music washes away the dust of everyday life from the soul" demonstrates the purpose of this book. The effect of music on the human soul has been known since ancient times. Later, various fields, such as neuroscience, philosophy, special education and music therapy, began to study the effect of music on the rational being, the human being.
The power of music is great and this was proven in many scientific findings of the above branches.
This book analyzes recent scientific data on the therapeutic effect of music on developmental disorders, as well as on other diseases of the body and soul. The journey to the healing world of music is so exciting that in the end one realizes that life without music would be without meaning, emotion and purpose.
Through this book, you will discover that music is a divine gift that promotes health in the human being.

Until recently I knew very little about the role of music in our lives. I only listened to the songs that pleased me, like the majority of people, without ever wondering what music can do in people's lives, especially when they really need it. But as soon as I started to study this book I was pleasantly surprised because I discovered new aspects of the role of music on people. And to be more specific, I will quote the conclusions that came to me after reading it. In the book, therefore, "Music heals: the therapeutic action of music in developmental disorders", there is a gradual provision of knowledge of the reader throughout the work regarding the role of music initially and Music Therapy afterwards. The very well, now, structured and very precise discourse is what attracts the reader to start reading, but more importantly it then 'holds him captive' in the way he provides the information about the position of Music Therapy. to the world but at the same time making him realize how little he knows about the subject. Also, the role of Music Therapy and the Music Therapist in our lives is precisely determined, but also where the former is deemed necessary to be applied. At this point, however, it is good to mention that our author clarifies in full that Music Therapy helps to improve, to normalize but not to magically eliminate the various mental disorders that possess people, as some may have mistakenly assumed. So, this observation becomes a reality in the chapter of the book where the importance and contribution of Music Therapy to the mentioned mental diseases that exist in the world are listed. So through all of the above I want to emphasize that the phrase "Music is a divine gift, which promotes health in the human being" that is on the back cover of this particular book is true beyond any doubt. So I highly recommend the book "Music Heals" to everyone. It's really impressive!!!
