The collection you hold in your hands includes the short stories of our "poor saint of letters" arranged chronologically. They are read because of their size, easily and quickly by young and old, whether they are familiar with the work and its varied language or not. For those who have not indulged in it, perhaps he urges them to rush to his larger works in order to complete their papadamantic pilgrimage that only spiritual "wealth" can offer. In fact, quite a few are considered handmade, i.e. masterpieces, which do not look like they were written by human hands, such as "Father at Home", "The Fallen Dervish", "Love in the Snow", "The Flower of Ialo", "The Feathered Gifts" ", "The myrology of the seal", but also perhaps the most beautiful ecological short story of modern Greek literature with the title "Under the royal oak"...
