THANASIS XANTHOS WRITES

Ο Evangelos Andriopoulos he has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management and specialization in Franchising.

Tell me about your new book, MAKE YOUR LIFE SIMPLE AND YOUR SALES A GAME, published by iWrite.

The book consists of two parts: the theoretical and the practical. In theory there are the principles of selling, the laws of selling and twenty-two rare selling tips. In the practical part there are two successful systems for implementation. The first is a proven savings system and the second is a successful Sales Development system that can be adapted to any business that employs employees.

What prompted you to write this book?

The truth is that four years ago I had created a Sales Development tracking system that in the course of these years applying it turned out to be quite successful. When a year ago an entrepreneur asked to learn about it in order to apply it to his business, I had the idea to write it in a book because it will be of interest to other entrepreneurs.

Who exactly is it aimed at and what is its goal?

The book is aimed at: entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses, executives of all levels but especially Sales Managers, any employee and any self-employed person who wants to develop into an entrepreneur. The goal of the book is to help all of the above achieve their professional goals.

You are a person who moves in the field of sales. How do you interpret things in our time and what are the opportunities for development?

Unfortunately, in the field of retail sales there are rarely productivity incentives so that each salesperson constantly has his mind on trying to increase sales (up selling, cross-selling). So most of the time it just executes the client's command. If there are two secrets in sales that a salesperson should have, they are persistence and patience. If I have to add a third it will be to build a system. The system he will build is the one that will allow him the best results. One can create their own system or implement the Sales Development Program.

What are your thoughts on Greece in 2018?

The years we are going through are difficult in many ways, everything is changing at a frightening speed.

We live in the digital age and the professional who keeps up with technology and is positive about new changes is the one who wins over his competitors.

What books do you generally read?

Books of personal development, investments, management, financial intelligence (such as Robert Kyosaki's books).

Would you ever write a novel?

Maybe, but it's not one of my writing priorities.

How easy is it to make our life simple and our sales a game?

The easy and the difficult are relevant for each person. For the exact same problem someone gets a stroke while someone else tries to find a solution. So I will focus on the will. There are many ways if one wants to make one's life simple, but the book focuses on a savings system with principles of capitalism. Its implementation or not is up to everyone's will.

I find that if someone reads the book two or three times and applies the Sales Development Program it is very easy to make sales a game.

What do you love to do in your spare time?

In my free time I like to play chess, read books and spend good times with my family.

Favorite quote?

"If you can't live the way you think, you'll end up thinking the way you live."

In closing and after thanking you warmly, I would like you to tell me your plans in the near future...

I plan to write two more books. One will be about Franchising because of my thesis and my employment in franchise stores and the other book will be about network marketing because of my long-term involvement in the industry.

"An excellent book, by reading it on the one hand you improve your personality and on the other hand you can start any idea on the "business"". Aristides Khantzis (Cafe owner – Barista)
"Evangelos Andriopoulos is a man who has meticulously studied the field of sales and especially the focus. What he wants is to transmit the system of "plus" and "minus" to as many people as he can, regardless of the profession they engage in. I think that by studying and applying this particular method you increase your ability to close the best deals, having the help and guidance of an experienced and honest person. Also, this particular book is easy to read and accessible to every reader." Mrs. Maria Laiou (Bank Clerk).
