Our relationship with animals reflects our relationship with ourselves. It mirrors our character, our behavior, our fears and dreams and the way we experience the reality of life. It exposes our deepest emotions in the most revealing way. Animals share a lot of our characteristics – good and bad – in their pure and unadulterated forms. That is why our relationship with them is so intense and often so defining in our lives. Delving deeper in this relationship and getting to know animal behavior, we discover many lost characteristics, many lost fragments of ourselves and at the same time we come to realize our profound kinship with different living beings. Accepting their right to exist in harmony with our world, we accept our own right to exist in harmony with our deeper nature.
