Γfor Sabin and Manolis, the saving year 2013 is a year that will change their lives forever. A war in Syria and the phenomenon of school bullying in Rethymnon are the causes that will lead the two teenagers on their journey towards change and freedom. Their path will be full of obstacles, but it will not be a lonely one.

In reality, their bond begins two centuries earlier. However, none of them know it. Sabine and Manolis are involved in an adventure, without being able to move its threads themselves. Where their journey ends, they will ultimately determine it themselves.

Author Biography

Paschalis Reczepis was born and raised in the East of Thessaloniki. He studied at the School of Law of A.P.Th. and since 2014 he has been making a living as a lawyer. "Sabine's Violin" is his first published work, but it is not, however, his first writing effort.

In 2017, the project was awarded with "Honorable Mention" in a competition organized by the University of the Aegean, an event that was the driving force behind the search for a publishing house and finally its release by Pigi publications.

Book review

Words are the author's vehicle to capture truths hidden behind closed doors, social issues such as the conflict of religions, racism of all forms, abuse and degradation of women, profiteering at the expense of hope for a better tomorrow , the refugee. With his lyrical and at the same time austere pen, Paschalis Reczepis highlights the power of friendship through the rocky paths that the two young people have to cross and emphasizes the power of will that can defeat hatred, hatred and xenophobia.

A book that presents many social issues with absolute respect, without offending anyone. He stands by the teenagers with love and understanding. He knows they are on their knees, but he urges them to get up and take life into their own hands again. A novel that stands with absolute respect towards its readers. Worth a read.
