Maria Kourkouna was born and raised in Karditsa in 1984. She studied nursery school in Ioannina and has been working in a nursery for 14 years. She loves children very much and has – already – three of her own. She likes to read fairy tales and tell fantastic stories to her children – but also as a school teacher – stories that then become her fairy tales.
So through Ririkus' tests we learn the professions and also the days of the week. We understand that every person is made for something unique and special and not all of us can do everything. It's a good opportunity for discussion.

The story of Ririkos is excellent, and through his daily adventures, he takes us into the jungle to discover what profession he will finally decide to do. The author chose metered speech that is always more easily imprinted in the children's memory. At the same time, the beautiful illustration transports us to the setting of the story!
A wonderful book that pleasantly and with humor also provides a trigger for discussion regarding the professions! It became an instant favorite of ours!
