Maria Kourkouna was born and raised in Karditsa in 1984. She studied to be a nursery teacher in Ioannina and has been working in a nursery for 14 years. She loves children very much and already has three of her own. She likes to read fairy tales and tell fantasy stories to her children and to her students, stories that, then, become her fairy tales.
