Spring did not want to come

Ο Absalom Kizirides He was born in a small village in the Prefecture of Pella; his name was Rizochori. He served for thirty-five years in primary education as a teacher, while he was retrained for two years at the Pedagogical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the course of his teaching life, he was a director in various school units, as well as an administrative head of teachers & kindergarten teachers in the province of Almopia in the province of Pella with headquarters in Aridaia.

Now retired, he lives with his family in Edessa. Continuing - as throughout his life - to be afraid of being "oxidized" by the south of inactivity, and feeling that he has sufficiently sharpened his existential "antennae", he tries to give meaning to his every day, acting on multiple levels.

He is more interested in conducting a choir of traditional & modern Greek songs, teaching Byzantine music, singing hymns, painting icons. As for writing, it is for him a vital need for creative expression and sharing life experiences with his fellow human beings. Because he feels that he has to say, in his own way and with his own linguistic aesthetics, things that really touch and interest many.
