"The King is Dead" is, to date, the only Greek book with a chess problem as its theme.
It is a selection of 500 chess compositions, aimed at everyone who is involved in any way with this intellectual game.
It includes 450 two-movement and 50 three-movement problems with their solutions. Most of them are awarded in chess competitions.
I hope you enjoy working with it as much as I enjoy collecting and selecting the compositions.
Kostas Haritakis -
I bought it yesterday at noon. Amazing work! Awesome variety of chess problems taken from a huge time period. I highly recommend buying it!
I use to say that chess doesn't just want you to spend time on it, but.. years! The author did this. He devoted much of his time and expended considerable energy to give us this result. And it is just the begining. Indeed, the Greek chess literature was in need of such a level project in the field of chess problems and compositions. And this is how one understands that the amateur chess players who love the sport and the knowledge surrounding it and its history, are the ones who maintain the love for chess in Greece and contribute productively to the learning of the younger ones.
I wish the author health and prosperity from the bottom of my heart, so that he may continue unscathed with the next volumes of his work and that nothing stands in his way in achieving his goal of spreading his knowledge and love for chess!
