AMasonry, a mythical destination full of mysteries and legends, many strange and bizarre stories, strange customs and traditions. The book by Vassilis Konstantinos is a unique travel diary of four expeditions (2015-2018) to five tribes of the Amazon. The author came into contact with cultures completely different from our own, experienced unrepeatable primitive ceremonies and captured through his photographic lens a way of life that has hardly changed over the centuries. He saw the world with different eyes and realized how wrong is the perception of "savage" and "uncivilized" natives. He was taught values that tend to disappear in our own "developed" world, such as respect and harmonious coexistence with mother nature, balance in human relationships, hospitality and selfless friendship. The message to protect and save the Amazon is not only humanitarian but also ecological, since these tribes are the protectors of the largest ecosystem on our planet, which is being destroyed day by day, with incalculable consequences for its future humanity.
