Somewhere in there I recovered, let go of my reservations and continued my tour of the alien place. I was only a few steps from the ground, so I armed myself with plenty of curiosity and kept my eyes wide open.
And what can I say about what I saw! I was faced with a completely surreal image. I saw towering identical buildings everywhere, forty – maybe even fifty – stories high, stretching before me in every color you can imagine: some blue and some white, but also pink, green, orange. All of them round – the tallest of them oval, some egg-shaped, some spherical – and so colorful they looked like big Christmas balls. I walked on, looking in wonder left and right where I walked, until I came before two large red domes – they looked like the eyes of a giant beetle. I was speechless observing this alien metropolis and began to walk its busy streets…
Are we able to discover the secrets of life? Is there a reason to live or are we just breathing, living and dying? Are we alone in the universe? Alone out there? Sole dominant among species? Is there a God or was everything created by chance?
The more I thought about it, the more I plunged into life's unanswered questions and its great impasses.
An incredible story between dreams and reality. The struggle to understand the world, the search in the name of happiness and life itself.
