Mom's happy! – practical guide

| iWrite Family of Writers

How important is writing to you?

Writing is purely psychotherapeutic for me. I started writing poems in my teens, later I tried short stories and short stories. For several years I kept a blog and wrote every day. Stories, experiences and thoughts. I mixed sweets every day with fiction stories and it worked for me like an invisible psychoanalyst!

"It's a magical moment to see your work come to fruition, a dream come true. When you're writing (in any genre) you treat your work like a small child. Hey, you don't trust your kid anywhere. For me iWrite is the best "nanny". Tender but strict at the same time. He tells me truths about my book and doesn't let me exaggerate.”

How did you feel when your book was published and you held it in your hands for the first time?

I cried for at least 20 minutes, without wanting to. My pleasure! My son and my husband were hugging me. I worked for 2 years on the book and for the last 8 months together with cartoonist Tasos Dimos and the guys from iWrite. It's a magical moment to see your work come to fruition, a dream come true.

Your first impressions of the "journey" of your book, which has just begun?

What they say when a book comes out: Good luck, at first it seemed terribly cliché. But it's true. A journey started for "mom's happiness" with what was printed and it started beautifully and dynamically. The journey is long and it takes a lot of effort and careful steps to enjoy it if you are a traveler, not just a tourist.
