How important is writing to you?

Whenever I'm asked this question, it sounds like "how important is breathing to you" to my ears. I simply cannot imagine my life without writing. It is a vital need of mine or, if you will, what defines me as a human being. I can not do otherwise. Ever since I can remember I have been thinking, reading and writing.

How did you feel when your book was published and you held it in your hands for the first time?

Once again, weird. I felt empty, the way a mother feels when her child has just been taken out of her womb, but also so happy that it was finished, that it was in the form of a book. At the same time, I also felt great sadness, because my spiritual child left my "hug", in this case from inside me, from my mind, and will now travel alone to other hugs, to libraries. I wished him a safe journey and good luck.

Your first impressions of the "journey" of your book, which has just begun?

The best. Lots of joy, dreams, a (so far) wonderful presentation in Thessaloniki, placement on the shelves of large bookstores, interviews and very good feedback. What more could a writer ask for?
