Author Biography

Η Maria A. Gerasimopoulou was born in Patras. After completing her studies in the field of Business Administration from Deree American College, she has been involved in teaching English for more than two decades.

Her involvement with children and especially with teenagers, as well as the lessons she received from her students, caused her to embrace very important life values, which she was able to later transfer to her books. Although the need to write was always there in her, it came to the surface imperatively after the serious health adventure she faced.

She loves animals and everything that connects her with the tranquility and sanctity of nature, as well as people who understand and embrace such values.

Η "Andriani" is the first of two novels that make up the series of period books he has written.

I really liked that I watched about the Greece of that period and got to know another perspective of our history. The cultural element is intense and the events taking place simultaneously with the development of the story are noteworthy! I think it is a book with rich historical content and an interesting plot. However, reading it causes discussions!
