Tatoi, Spring of 1907

Η Maria Bonaparte, a descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte, visits the Palace with her husband, Prince George, second son of the King of the Greeks, George I. There he meets Marcos Avgerinos from Stavlio, a master violinist, is fascinated by his playing and undertakes to finance his studies at the Paris Conservatoire. Through their meetings a love will be born, fluid and undefined, but nevertheless doomed not to lead them to happiness, which increases the intensity and passion of the two people's feelings.

A novel about love and music, trauma and psychoanalysis, the random and unexpected that comes to change lives of people, leading them to decisive decisions.

Having as a historical context Greece and Europe of the beginning of the twentieth century, two distinct personalities live in their own unique way the historical events, the conflicts of political ideologies, the new currents in Art, as well as they are divided between passion and logic, the needs of their psyche and the social must.

Author Biography

Η Olga Liaratzis was born in Alexandroupoli, but has been living in Thessaloniki for the last forty years. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the AUTH and specifically the Department of Archeology and Art. He worked as a philologist in a public high school in the area. In the years 1984-1988 he attended courses in History and Sociology of Education at the ULB in Brussels, as well as in School Vocational Guidance. When he returned to Greece, he worked on the Comenius programs (student exchange between EU countries). He wrote short stories, as well as poems, which were published in collective volumes and in issues of the magazines of the Union of Writers of Northern Greece, of which he is a member.

Her historical novels are also published by Pigi Publications "When the Bosphorus Wept" (2016) "The Dark Portrait" (2017) and "The Witches of Thermaikos" (2019)

Sometimes the reader can see the royal palaces in the background and sometimes he wanders the streets of Paris. However, he is always accompanied by the sweet sound of a violin. Thus, the book creates an atmosphere that raises more than one senses, managing to create a world of its own. A world either emotional or real, but certainly charming.
