A mysterious and remote place is the setting where this dystopian novel unfolds. That's where the protagonist arrives. Anonymous and timeless, he lives his personal adventures, shedding light on man's ceaseless effort for a better society. Challenging every established certainty, he wanders into the field of personal disobedience to reach the entanglements that block every liberating attempt. Thus, the journey of his life ends where all human journeys end: in a personal destination, which defines the ultimate value of the journey.

Blinding Light
Author:
Achilleas Fakatselis, Author Biography
The scion of an urban family from Ioannina, Achilleas Fakatselis was a self-taught journalist adding up 30 years of dependent work in the historic "Eleftherotypia" plus some short periods in other Athens newspapers. During a four-year period of unemployment, he translated books and collaborated with high-circulation magazines. At the age of 62, he stopped journalism, aspiring to work in literature. Socially emancipated and therefore politically unintegrated, he wandered as a youth, and later as an adult, in the fertile valleys of extra-parliamentary contestation, so that he never reaped the fruits of party submission. "BLIND LIGHT" is his first novel.
