Τthe book "Forms of Violence in Adolescent Relationships" is a study of the phenomenon with a clear interdisciplinary interest. Violence permeates the lives of teenagers and young people in a constantly changing society and with clearly increasing tension. Adolescent intimate partner violence is defined as physical, sexual, psychological, and cyber-threatening or intimidating behavior intended to cause emotional, physical, or social harm to a current or former partner. Intimate partner violence in adolescents is an important area of study, as, apart from the usual negative effects of abuse, this violence occurs during a critical period for a person's social as well as intellectual development.
The book examines the forms of partner violence in adolescence, the causal factors of the phenomenon and the legal framework for the protection of minors, while the investigation of violence in partner relationships through the narratives highlights the experience and expression of the emotions of teenagers.
The book by Mrs. Vanas Papakitsou is an original study on the forms of violence in the social relationships of teenagers that contributes significantly to the understanding of this phenomenon, while the author lists important proposals in the field of its effective prevention and treatment. The choice of the research method, in addition to its scientific validity, sends direct messages and generates emotions and concerns in the reader, as the aspects of partner violence emerge unfiltered through the narratives of the teenagers themselves. This book is an especially important resource for those who study adolescent violence in depth, but both its subject matter and its writing style may be of particular interest to a wider readership.

This book is a thorough and original interdisciplinary study. The author's methodological choice is to empirically approach the phenomenon of companionship barely presenting the speech of the teenagers themselves, it highlights the qualitative characteristics of the phenomenon in an interesting and realistic way. In my opinion, it is a valuable aid for practitioners, researchers and students of social sciences, as the reader will be able to delve into the study of individual aspects of adolescent peer relationships and violence.
