In this book, the author invites us to meet eleven-year-old Dionysis. With humor, sensitivity and imagination, he lets us follow him on his adventures and in his inner searches. Dionysis, like any child of his age, is full of questions and concerns that lead him to new paths and unprecedented journeys. With appetite and impatience and without criticism of what he sees, he wonders and with bold judgment he attempts to transform the difficulties that lie within him into creative and unprecedented experiences and desires.

Through quick dialogues about music, poetry, friendship, relationships, technology, but also memory, heritage, society and love, we see his reflections on the road to growing up. Together with Xanthippi, his magical friend, who never leaves her, the grandmother next door, the niece who decided to stay in our country, Mr. Lambros with his white mustache, the blind visitor who decided to appear towards the end of book and finally... me, your narrator, Dionysus grows and we grow with him in a book that continues... and is aimed at children from 9 years and older, as well as adults who want to remember.

Author Biography

Ermophili Tsotsou, although a native of Thessaloniki, decided to move to Athens in recent years, where she lives permanently. The city claims that it gave her the opportunity to take up writing, as something unexpected. Thus - anxiously and at the same time effortlessly - words unfolded on paper and after a complete devotion to the written word of poetry, she published her first poetry collection, entitled: "Hours of Anxiety" (published by Smili, 2018).

Her poems were soon published in online and print magazines as well as in Anthologies. Received the 7nd Prize for Poetry at the 2018th International Literary Competition XNUMX from the UNESCO Group for Arts, Languages and Sciences of Greece.

Along the way, and almost parallel to poetry, nonfiction followed, which awakened two-way processes and mechanisms to her, so that she could take on the challenge of writing about a sensitive and special field, such as children's and adolescent literature. In this book, her first thoughts as a writer and as a reader of the book are recorded. Experimentation is something that wants to accompany and accompany her. Her country, which she loves so much, as well as her hero, is "the best good in the whole world", as it is underlined in the book.
