Othat's how it was. Exactly. To! Only this easel should be a little further to the right. Who would have thought, eh? That my body would be depicted in a painting...and not only that.
To! And this camera... ...I was telling Man Ray that I didn't feel very good about him photographing me, but he told me not to worry and that when Man takes pictures, then the lens sees what he wants.

A REVIEW OF MY BOOK AND THE SHOW:
The actress Daisy Sebekopoulou poses next to the ALMA theater poster after the end of the performance "Kiki's Dream". A truly subversive, unconventional show that transports us to France of the last century. Based on the real life biography of Alice Pren, a show under the careful direction of the young director Kon/nos Tsonopoulos and the special script of the debuting young writer Dimitris Oikonomou, the result of which is truly spectacular. But also the flawless interpretation of Daisy Sebekopoulou, so direct, so spontaneous, so accessible to the audience, that she becomes one with the viewer. She conveys Kiki's feelings to him during her turbulent life that was full of passions, adventures, loves and also pain.
Watching Kiki on stage talking about her life, sometimes you admire her uncompromising mind and endless passion for life and sometimes you want to cry with her, feeling her frustration at people who could not understand her so free SELF. Because she was born to live ONLY like this.
The young director Kon/nos Tsonopoulos was the one who initially read her biography and was inspired by the idea of putting on a show about the life of the unique Kiki, so that she would be known to a wider audience. So he shared this idea with Dimitris Economou and asked him to collaborate. Dimitris took his pen, he was inspired in turn and began to write, letting his imagination run free and thus the idea of Kon/nos Tsonopoulos became flesh and bones.
The text was completed, the book was published and staged with great success. In this way, the first-time author Dimitris Oikonomou with "Kiki's Dream" realized his own dream: To publish his second book (the first he published was a poetry collection).
We do not know what prompted his pen to describe Kiki's life in such a special, unique and direct way. As if he knew her personally. Maybe, because like all artists, he hides a little Kiki inside himself. Free, independent, uncompromising, full of passion for life. Because ART IS LIFE. So, we thank Dimitris Oikonomou, Kon/no Tsonopoulos and Daisy Sebekopoulou, the three people who are the "soul" of this show, because they gave us the opportunity to remember it again: ART = LIFE
