Η The concept of the labyrinth is very old and can be read as a mythical and poetic symbol. It is always relevant existentially, but also historically in the dark times we live in. Times when man, his image, his teleology, what we are but also what we want to become have disappeared from our horizon. What is good life when we don't know what life is? Any ontologies of man drowned in the deep ocean of passive consumerism and wage labor and remained floating like old, damaged mannequins on the surface.
The public space, the market, where mediation can take place, have disappeared and have become markets and super-markets. When the city does not have a center, then man also does not have a center and the place where we live - but also ourselves - becomes a labyrinth.
Poetry, of course, cannot save us, nor show us the way out. It can only amuse us a little by showing us the importance of play. Of the game with words, with meanings, with the clichés that are based in us and have inhabited us without realizing what a nice nest we have become for them. By playing, however, we leave the window open for creativity to enter and find us unexpectedly at night, when our passivity and automatism are asleep.
