Kostakis Melissakis at the recycling plant

Η Dimitra Ioannidis was born and raised in Argolis. Her love for literature and poetry led her to the Faculty of Philology of the University of Peloponnese and, later, to the completion of postgraduate studies in Educational Policy. At the same time, he attended seminars on fairy tale writing and psychology. Armed with all of the above and driven by her need to talk to children about burning social issues, she created Kostakis Melissakis. A fairy tale hero who has the answers to all childhood problems. 

Η Nasia Sotiropoulou (@nassottt) was born in the United Kingdom and spent her childhood in Athens. Both after and during her studies at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at EKPA, she was involved in illustration  Greek and foreign language books. Her many years of painting as well as her love and nostalgia for childhood pushed her to illustrate children's books.
