The Dance of the Stars

Night excursion to the pale white, snowy Taygetus and the magic of the stars pierced through me. Listening to my friend Giorgos Poulokephalos (civil engineer and lover of sky photography), always ready on every trip to guide us through the paths of the starry constellation, the spark of decoding the sky was ignited in me. The years of Medicine-Pediatrics gave me the gifts of knowledge of the human organism, systems, tissues, cells, molecules and individuals – the microcosm. Each person a small solar system... The same longing led me to discover the world of stars and astrophysics in the macrocosm of the universe, through online courses at the University of Liverpool (John Moores Liverpool University). Every night I looked for the stars in the sky through the lessons, the telescope and the binoculars. And, as a member of the Astronomical Union of Sparta, the wandering in the world of stars continues…

With a nail paint brush and improvised paints, she started from her teenage years to give shapes and colors to thoughts and feelings. Graduated in French Philology as well as curator of the library of the Lyceum of the Hellenes of Athens, painting has always been an integral part of her life. For 15 years he attended group painting lessons at LtE with teacher Lorenzo Karpathakis and at the same time private lessons for 6 years with the painter Georgios Pitsios. She was awarded for her works in group exhibitions at the Parnassos Philological Association and LtE, while one of her works is part of the permanent exhibition of the Syros art gallery.
