Like another Persephone

Athena Terzi was born and lives in Thessaloniki. He studied Theology and Journalism and has done postgraduate studies in Communication and Public Relations. He has worked in Thessaloniki radio stations and writes articles in the city's magazines. He has participated in European programs for the training of young people, the assimilation of immigrants and the organization of cultural events, specializing in the culture of the Mediterranean peoples. He works in the Municipality of Thessaloniki, in the Department of Public and International Relations. In her twenties, she published the collection of short stories with the title: "Only for you and the Elk" (published by Observer). As she says: "I love innocent smiles. The joy of people born from nothing. Big eyes and long fingers painting the air. I sympathize with all those who hide behind books and movies and say they are alive, but I admire the brave, independent ones who managed to test their endurance. I can't resist the gallant ones who raise castles with their words, the noble ones who lower their eyes, the shy ones who blush, the ugly ones with personality, the lonely ones who monologue and drag their step on the edges of the streets, sunflowers and colorful balloons. I love my city and the love lasts from my student years. From the ruin where I lived in Kule Kafe with the cats and dogs in the corners. I remain incurably romantic with the kindness of people and the deep-rooted belief that we are all potential artists."
