Eva is an insecure, low self-confidence young girl who, when she comes of age, leaves her island for Athens. There, she seeks to discover and live her dream. A series of different circumstances call and challenge her to face and overcome her insecurities. Then, she will truly love herself. Her "good fairy" transforms the ugly duckling into a swan with her magic wand, and with her new self, Eva is able to live a dream life. Money, fame, beauty, confidence, everything is laid like a red carpet under her feet. Eva is finally living her dream! Or maybe not; Does all that she has conquered correspond to her real dream? What is the reason that will make her renounce all those things that some would give their lives to obtain? The answer lies in the memories of the past. A chance meeting with her childhood crush will turn her whole life upside down. Through his eyes she will see the essential meaning of life and through his way of thinking she will... remember her real dream...

Author Biography

Athina - Dionysia Georgakopoulou - Papadopoulou was born in Athens in November 1974. She lived in Zakynthos until she was 15 years old, then returned to Athens where she met her husband in 1992. A year later she got married and today she is the mother of three boys, aged 18 years, 16 years and 18 months. Writing has always been an inner need for expression and relaxation. To this day, she has not dared to "bring out" any of her texts, but the novel "I dreamed of living" subtly "imposed" it on her... She believes that writing is not limited only to classrooms, which is why it is not, necessarily , result and consequence of studies. As she herself states, "It probably stems, simply, from personal perception and observation of life, as well as from the innate ability to express thoughts and ideas." Her novel "I dreamed to live" was released by the iWrite.gr publishing house in January 2012.
