Kimonas Metallinos is a fifteen-year-old student from Athens. Antisocial, withdrawn and with low self-esteem. But after surviving an explosion on a highway, that will change. Visions from ancient mythology will flood his dreams. His senses will shift into a supernatural realm. Kimonas will race against time to find and stop a dark plan targeting Athens. This effort of his will make him obsessive and along the way he will cause his fate, his unknown enemies, but also the blood of those who will follow him or find themselves on his way.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Sonia Monastiraki, an eighteen-year-old girl, cynical, self-destructive and hermaphrodite, will - unwittingly at first - enter an underground game. A threat is coming to America and Sonia will play a pivotal role when she learns that the girl she thought was dead may be alive. Her passion will lead her into the hands of Bosnian terrorists, Mexican drug traffickers and the CIA. She herself will not hesitate to change sides and make monstrous decisions in order to survive and find the truth.
Two seemingly different cases. Two different people. And yet, they are connected. Because when one bleeds, the other bleeds too in a paradoxical way. There is a plan underway and before the end the two heroes will understand that in this war it doesn't matter who wins or loses. Only the results.
