The demystification of Rally Racing driving

Ο Lampis (Charalambos) Kourtesis born in 1957. He studied economics at ASOEE and econometrics at the University of Southampton.

Until the end of his studies he worked occasionally in various jobs in the private sector, mainly as an office worker. From 1985, after fulfilling his military obligations, he worked in various positions (sales to General Management), always in the private sector. All this until 2002, where he founded his own company providing racing services for rally races ("Parallelodromio Motorsport" - Rallyschool.gr) based in Spathovuni, Corinthia. Part of the business, in addition to renting racing cars to the public, was the design and construction with equity capital of the only parallel dirt track in Greece, specially designed for rally driver training, having mapped 84 different special routes up to 4100 meters long. The track in question, known by the name of his business "Parallelodromio", was closed in 2010. From 2010 onwards, his business was transferred to Agios Theodorou in Corinthia, with his son Nikos taking over the reins and Lampis handling exclusively with the driver training seminars and with the "setting up" of racing cars.

His first race was a dirt skill in 1977. He continues to participate in rallies to this day, mainly on dirt surfaces. His rich "racing" biography can be found on the last pages of this.
