In the Greek language, "demystification" refers to the removal of the myth, the veil that covers the naked truth, the revelation of the real - without fabrications - image, person, thing, situation. Motor sport (and not only) is full of myths. Myths are necessary to arouse the interest of "common mortals" so that their "idols", the drivers, find themselves on unthinkable pedestals, since they do "mythical" driving, they subvert natural laws, they are fearless, they are tireless, they are demigods, they are infallible and… other monster stories. Myths in rallies are mainly created by the relevant journalists, both intentionally and unintentionally, when they use the above in race descriptions. Fates, and driving them, are possessed by heaps of myths.
So this state of rally driving is demystified for you, the reader, in this book. It is demystified not with aphorisms and slogans, or "do it this way because this is how I do it and I win" but with logical propositions and with numbers that cannot be disputed, simply because they are proven with elementary, known to everyone, everyday use "mathematics". By buying it, if you are a racing driver you will be puzzled and hopefully change your driving style. If you're a race driver candidate you're off to a good start. Happy studying!
