Cheerful, self-contained stories of everyday life, written in the local dialect of Lesvos. The occasion was a photograph taken by the author herself forty years ago, which depicts her neighbors during preparatory work for the loom.
Performances from her childhood and teenage years bring to life the habits, manners and customs of the place where she grew up. It opens a huge window into the past, where stories unfold in front of us with words and images from then until today.
She succeeds in marrying the past with the present, wanting her texts to be in the hands of new people and through the images she quotes, to preserve the local idiom of the region, as an expression of linguistic diversity, and part of the cultural heritage of Lesvos.
