Thus begins the story of Vassilikoula, an 18-year-old girl from Siatista and Kostakis, 5th in line of descent of the grammarian Ali Pasha of Ioannina.
A true story that takes place at the dawn of the 20th century with touching references to the events of that time (Spanish flu, Macedonian Struggle, fire of Thessaloniki) and historical references to the struggles of the Greeks for survival and freedom during the Turkish rule.
