What does "there's an elephant in the room and I can't see it" mean?
The elephant is a huge mammal of the Elephantidae family and the Proboscididae order. Sweet and large he cannot go unnoticed, unless man chooses not to see him. Man is a surviving subspecies of Homo sapiens, the wise man, but he was nothing like his ancestor. With his wisdom he could see everything, even an elephant in the room. But he chose to complicate his life by letting phobias, insecurity and many other things blind him. This collection of narrative poems attempts to unravel the strange relationship* that the two creatures have developed.
*This relationship gave meaning to the phrase "They don't want to talk about the elephant in the room".
