who is the author?

Alexandra Belegrati graduated from Arsakei Classical High School, the American College (Deree) and the London School of Journalism (Novel Writing). He attended many screenwriting seminars in Greece and England (including the famous Story by RobertMcKee in London, on-line training Storylogue by Robert McKee, and also screenwriting seminars with Andrew Horton, Prof. Film & Media studies, University of Oklahoma , USA). He is a member of the Union of Screenwriters of Greece.

At the end of 2004, she decided to leave her thirteen-year career as a business executive, and devote herself exclusively to writing, which she had been doing since she was a child.

She has written and published two novels, "So It Had to Be Done" by Iason Books in 2011 and "The Flowered Jewelry Box" by Pigi Publications (www.pigi.gr), in 2013. She has one more finished novel in her drawers and is in the process of editing her fourth novel, while she is also preparing a book based on the screenplay.

Her screenplay in English "You are My Only Sunshine" was distinguished among the five best of the London Greek Film Festival 2010. She participated in the Carmel Film Festival, USA, 2012 and was distinguished in December 2012 at the Angel Film Awards – Monte Carlo/Monaco, receiving two awards, 'Best Special Mention Screenplay' and 'Best Family Drama Screenplay'. He has written four plays. He has, as a script consultant, worked on four scripts in English. As a Visiting Lecturer, he worked with screenwriting students at the University of Oklahoma, USA.
