Buff the Balloon

Polina Zonke was born in Athens but grew up in the city of Drama where she comes from. In 2008 she graduated from the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since then she has been working in Public Education as a teacher. She has worked for a year as a substitute in a school in Corfu. Subsequently, he was appointed and works in schools in Orestiada, Evros, while he also worked in Drama for a year. 

She often uses the children's literature book in her classes because she believes that every new story is an occasion for new games, new experiences and unique knowledge. Thus, reading-friendly actions gave her the opportunity to tell her own stories.

Some of the literacy activities he created have been presented at the 1st International Conference of Applied Teaching with the theme "Innovative Applications in Teaching Practice" (27-29/11/15, Drama), as well as at the 3rd Conference "New Teacher" (16-17/ 04/ 2016, Eugenidou Foundation, Athens).
