Sophia Theodosiadou,Η Dr. Sophia Theodosiadou is a journalist and teaches courses on SMEs and Childhood at the Department of Preschool Education and Education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked as a journalist on the radio and in the magazine press, while at the same time he has been teaching communication and journalism courses in Higher Education since 2002. Her book is published by Herodotos publications "Voices of pirates on the airwaves. The pirate radio of Thessaloniki" (2016) while her published scientific work in Greek and international academic journals and collective volumes is extensive. She participates with her short stories in short story collections "No Reserve" (Evmaros Publications, 2022) and "With fountain pen" (Alati Publications, 2022). "Mr Sensitive" is her first fairy tale.
Ο Darren Gate is an illustrator of children's literature and lives in Thessaloniki.
He illustrates children's books as well as illustrations for educational material for children and teenagers.
In 2016 he won the Kelpies' Design and Illustration Prize for the illustration and cover design of Mark A. Smith's book Slugboy Saves the World. Also, in 2018 his name was on the shortlist for the Bologna Children's Book Illustration Prize.
Darren admires and draws inspiration from the work of many distinguished illustrators including Shirley Hughes, John Burningham, Raymond Briggs and Quentin Blake.
