Maria Papadaki was born in 1972 in Athens to Laconian parents. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens. From the same department she received a Master's Degree in Aesthetics (the subject of her thesis, The Role of Myth in the Platonic Symposium), while she is currently working on her PhD research on the Dimension of the Tragic in Euripides. He has participated with scientific announcements in international Philosophy Conferences. She has been working since her student years in the private sector. At the same time, she has an active participation in cultural institutions (High School of Hellenes Branch of Acharna, Theater Group of the Municipality of Nea Philadelphia, Reading Club of Nea Philadelphia "Epea Pteroenta", etc.). Since 2008, she has been teaching Greek as a foreign language to immigrant women on a voluntary basis, while teaching at the Department of Theatrical Fairy Tales for Children of the Greek High School, Acharna Annex.
Some of her poems have been published in the poetry collections MYTHIKES ACROVASIES (Mavridis, 1997) and TRUE MYTHS (Dodoni, 2006), while her poems have been published in the collective volumes FILOLOGIKI PROTOCHRONIA 2000 (Mavridis, 2000) and GRAFIS ERGA (Orionas, 2011). Her poetry has been distinguished and awarded in competitions of literary associations. In 2012, her collection of short stories WRITTEN IN THE FOUNDATIONS (Recent DIY book, 2012) was released.
