Author Biography

Ο Yannis Petrou was born in Athens in 1979. He grew up in Loutraki, Corinthia, with the stories of his "fairy tale" grandfather stirring his childhood imagination and being the stimulus for writing his first short stories during his adolescence. Artistically restless, since the age of twelve he has been involved in music, taking part in performances and singing competitions, either as an independent musician or as a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Loutraki.

He studied Finance and Administration in Athens until 2020 was busy in the banking industry. In 2011, he was awarded the Innovative Idea Award by Piraeus Bank. Alongside his studies and work, he will immerse himself in foreign languages (he speaks English, French and Spanish), creating the resources to support his great passion, travel. The images, feelings, people and their stories, which he met in them, will influence him and lead him to spend long periods of time abroad, in search of new experiences and experiences.

From the iWrite Editions, released in 2016 his first book with the title "The Sweetest Sleep".
