Dimitris Oikonomou
Faces of Senses–poetry

| iWrite Family of Writers

How important is writing to you?

Writing is as important to me as life itself. I always remind myself, wherever I am, to have a pen and paper with me. Of all my dreams, writing is the most important. What I always wanted was for other people to read what I put on paper. To communicate in this way with other people. So writing is important because it gives you life, teaches you life, shares life with you.

"iwrite took me by the hand and put me with 'Faces of the Senses' on the path of 'Standard Source Publications' and from the first moment there was the same need and the same interest to ultimately achieve the best possible result."

How did you feel when your book was published and you held it in your hands for the first time?

Really like I was reborn. By first looking at the cover of the book itself. The shape of the egg, birth, the face inside the shape, the changing of the seasons. Somehow, seeing it, I felt reborn and saw my whole life pass before my eyes. I used to say that when I hold the book in my hands for the first time I will cry for ten days from joy, emotion and pride. And so it happened, I read it and cried like a little child who is being given a gift, his favorite toy, and he can't believe it for any reason.

Why do you think you made the right choice with iWrite.gr?

Choices are judged by the result and the result here is unique. iwrite took me by the hand and put me with the "Faces of the Senses" on the path of "Standard Editions Source" and from the first moment there was the same need and the same interest to finally achieve the best possible result. The collaboration is amazing and will continue.

Your first impressions of the "journey" of your book, which has just begun?

The impressions are like a fairy tale and I believe they will continue to be so. Once upon a time there was Dimitris Oikonomou, the "People of the Senses" and they started a long and full of experiences "journey" together...and they lived well and we lived better. Me too even better. Because every day the "journey" starts all over again and every time someone takes my book in their hands, my joy grows more and more.
