88 Myths & Truths – study

| iWrite Family of Writers

How important is writing to you?

I believe that the older I get the more interests I learn and acquire. This, of course, may be contrary to common sense which wants the "normal" person to develop and manifest his interests at a young age.

Ok, maybe not.

One of the things I like to do and which pleasantly fills my free time is writing (another - and perhaps first without a second thought - is travelling).

I can't say the "cliché" that writers around the world usually say, that is, the stimulus to start writing first appears when you're young, young or adolescent. This is something that just as easily could be true, just as easily it could not be true. On the contrary, I preferred to mature first as a person, as an entity, within the whole and society and later - or at the same time - to develop within myself the "stimulus" of writing. Did it come on its own? Did I chase it too? I think it's a combination of those two.

Now, writing is an important part of my daily life and my life in general. Something that constantly gives birth to new ideas and dreams for the future!

"The result justified my expectations 101%! [...] It is as if I designed and created my book myself, just as I wanted and imagined it, but without doing it myself! If you consider what I just said, I don't think I need anything more to prove that my choice with iWrite.gr was undoubtedly the most correct one that could have been made!"

How did you feel when your book was published and you held it in your hands for the first time?

My book "88 Myths & Truths" from iWrite.gr publications may be my first personal book, however I feel that my first published and published book is "Strange Traveler: Exploring the Secret Greece" from Archetypo publications .

It is, if you will, my normal child and the adopted one. The second came first in my life, the first followed, but for a lifetime I will love both equally!

So, I will answer the above question by recalling that moment when I held the Strange Traveler in my hands: I felt one of the strongest and truest emotions I have ever experienced in my life! The labors and work of many months and... kilometers were now presented before me in the form of a book. All the moments, conversations, opinions, choices, disagreements and our own touches (the printed Strange Traveler is the work of four friends) were now captured in the heavy colored book I held in my hands. A unique feeling that is undoubtedly something you experience once in your life!

Not to… do injustice to my own first personal book, imagine that I felt almost the same feelings. Only this time, it's the truth, less strongly!

Why do you think you made the right choice with iWrite.gr?

The result justified my expectations 101%! Excellent and professional work by people with passion and passion, which the truth is - from what I've heard from here and there - is rare these days in the publishing world. From the first moment my book (then a Word document on my computer) left my hands (my computer that is!) to the moment I got my hands on it again, this time in print form book, I knew my project was in the right hands! And in the end, as it turned out, my choice was completely justified. It's like I designed and created my book myself, just as I wanted and imagined it, but without doing it myself! If you consider what I just said, I don't think I need anything more to prove that my choice with iWrite.gr was undoubtedly the most correct one that could have been made!

Your first impressions of the "journey" of your book, which has just begun?

From the first day of its release, in mid-May 2013 at the International Book Fair in Thessaloniki, many people immediately "embraced" my book "88 Myths & Truths". To this day, my friends and relatives hold the championships and I owe them a big thank you for supporting my endeavor! Following are other people, from various corners of Greece, who immediately showed interest and acquired a copy of my book. Many of the above as well as various other friends, acquaintances and strangers gave me great joy when they attended the presentation of the book on December 20, 2013 at café Zogia in Thessaloniki.

I would say that the journey of the book has just begun! He still has - I want to believe! - a long way to go! (laughs)
