Old PASOK – The Orthodox: THIRD COMPETITION

pasok

The “Old PASOK – The Orthodox” is one of the most popular Greek fb pages that promote, through humor but also political analysis, various sociological phenomena of the 80s and 90s, presenting their extensions to today. Hundreds of our fellow citizens share daily with the tens of thousands of page members personal stories and nostalgic experiences from the "Andreas era", often using their enviable literary skills!

In the context of our desire to highlight new writing talents and original scripts, we announce the announcement of the third short story competition (science fiction this time!) entitled "The Green Empire Strikes Back".

In this context, we invite all authors, friends of "Palio PASOK, regardless of age, to send us a short story (1.000 to 2.500 words long) with a fictional story as a background, which can belong to various literary genres (social, political, mystery, sentimental, etc.). This story should definitely take place in 2981, in a future where humanity has colonized other planetary systems, expanding its sphere of influence hundreds of light years away from Earth. The cohesion of the authoritarian empire that has been formed over several centuries is shaken by rumors of the subterranean resurgence of a lost metaphysical green power, that of PASOK, and the belief in ancient beliefs of a Leader who at the end of the 20th century spoke to the Earth about Prosperity, Democracy, Independence and Tsovola dosta all.

The short stories that will stand out in competition will be included in a collector's edition of the book, which will be presented in the coming months to the reading public by the publishers. iWrite.

Duration
The end date of the competition is defined as 31July 2023.
