I was born in the countryside, in the shadow of nature and grew up in a very, very large family. When I was little, I didn't eat my food and my elders told me that I wouldn't grow tall! Despite all that, I grew taller, but I never grew taller... And before I knew it, I realized my first dream and found myself a student at PTDE Florina. But the studies didn't stop there, I wanted more! My thirst to provide care, smile and proper education to children brought me to the completion of my master's degree in Special Education and Therapeutic Riding respectively. Working as an educator I traveled to New York, Switzerland and London and there I saw a lot and wrote more! I have attended seminars on dubbing, music-kinetic education, theater play and school psychology. I love everything that is created with imagination and realized with hands! I make my own games, sing and write, for young and old, about things that are hard to say but easy to read!
I learned to… sew buttons from a very young age. I have done some sewing, but my performance is nothing compared to Miss Button's. Illustration was the art that won me over. I drew on notebooks, books, desks... whatever I found available!
Growing up, I decided to learn how to do it right. So I studied free drawing, linear, color, animation and graphic design at TEI of Athens. Just like Miss Koubi, I chased my luck by knocking on many doors, mainly in publishing houses and advertising companies in Greece and abroad. To date I have illustrated several dozen books, in many different ways. With the heroine of the book I share the same stubbornness and the same will to create what I love!
