The invitation was automatically transformed into a challenge, as a faithful translation from the ancient Greek to the lexically more elementary "rural, bucolic" dialect, as Christos Antoniadis called it, would possibly be an unequal match. However, loyal devotion to the realization of the translation of Medea quickly replaced any initial reservations and, five years later, he completes this important work. Besides, as "hunter" of words, of Pontic, he could not have done otherwise. On the one hand, he believed in their power and essence, despite their comparatively limited scope, and on the other hand, he struggled for regeneration and rescue "ancient magic words" as he called them. "I hope it will be published and remain in the libraries of younger generations. Let them learn, for example, that we Pontians call complex stones Complex stones". Driven by a term, therefore, he forms the first couplet and one "magic" word becomes the starting point in the translation of Medea.
