Author Biography

Ο Ilias Spyridis was born in Beirut and grew up in Lebanon and Rhodes. He studied at the Speech Therapy department of the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus and later completed the postgraduate program "Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry" of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a certified stuttering therapist (Certified European Stuttering Specialist, CESS) and a partner of the Stuttering Research and Treatment Center. His preoccupation with stuttering led him to write the fairy tale Mark, the Magician Who Stutters, with the aim of empowering and de-sensitizing children who stutter and their families.
