The pages of the book you hold in your hands are somehow… magical. The reason; Through them you will tour the other (unknown) side of Thessaloniki, where you will discover the history of the "Elginians of Thessaloniki" (or otherwise the "Enchanted") and you will meet the first European hijackers who were of course from Thessalonica (!).
You will also "go back" in time, to Thessaloniki during the German occupation, where you will witness unique events by getting to know the children of the Barefoot Order, as well as the secret experiments carried out at the Aristotle Orphanage. You will relive the "Black Sabbath" of the Jews but also get to know the real history of the White Tower when it was still called the Red Tower (or Blood Tower).
Following the flow of history you will get to know the course of the most important foreign language schools of the city and continuing your search you will be rewarded with the discovery of small treasures and… wonders, such as that of the catacomb of Agios Ioannis where, according to one opinion, Agios Demetrius the Myroblytis was martyred , or the ruins of an ancient Greek temple in the square of Antigonides or again the portico of the Idols in Egnatia. Stories and protagonists, movements and ideas of a city that is multifaceted, multi-collective, creative and even has its own peculiar weather: its burinis.
