15 Dark Tales with Bright Intentions
Fifteen young storytellers, in their first attempt at writing, will enchant us with their short, dark stories. Some move in more traditional paths and others in completely modern ones.
Fifteen stories called dark because they revolve around concepts of loss. Loss of loved ones, relationships, self, balance, space-time, environment and the essence of life.
The intention of every loss is always to bring a bright beginning. So these fifteen tales have only one purpose. Through dark paths to lead you to the brightest clearing!
Through the "Fairy Tale and Hidden Symbols" seminar, the students learned the basic rules of writing and telling a fairy tale, but also the hidden sexual, psychological, political, religious, etc. symbols found in classic fairy tales. Also, through psychological exercises, they developed their emotional intelligence and got in touch with the childish part of themselves.
At the end of the seminar, fifteen students of IEK DELTA Athens, with the help of the lecturer-author Stavrianos Kinalopoulos, wrote a fairy tale as a final paper.
