SWOT Analysis

Michael V. Mantikos was born in Rhodes. He graduated from the Icaron School in 1992 and holds the two-year Master's Program on "International, Political and Economic Relations in the Mediterranean", of the University of the Aegean, which he completed with honors and with a scholarship as the first in the ranking (2006-2008 ).

Convinced that continuous training is an important factor in the formation of thinking in a dynamically changing world, he has attended seminars - over 2.500 hours - of the Institute of Public Administration Training, the University of the Aegean, the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Air Force, in leadership, business planning, marketing, management, management through objectives, crisis and conflict management, civil protection and Life coaching.

He has been honored with the medals and commemorations provided for by his respective rank and specialty, by the President of the Hellenic Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and commendation by the Chief of the Air Force for his excellent performance in further training.

He has educational experience in the context of internships for ATEI students and OAED apprenticeships.

He has written two works:

"The Armed Forces and Big Brother - articles 1-14 of Law 2472/1997 & introduction to the CARVER+S method", Michael V. Mantikos, year of publication 2011, ISBN 978-960-93-2961-3.

"The Application of the Code of Administrative Procedure to the Armed Forces (articles 2-12, 16-19 and 24-27 of Law 2690/1999, Official Gazette A' 45/9-3-1999)", Michael V. Mantikos, year of publication 2009, ISBN 978-960-931423-7.

At the same time, his articles are hosted on the website of the General Staff of National Defense/Strategic Thinking Tank, in local newspapers of Rhodes - where he lives after his retirement - and on news websites. He is also a contributing columnist at www.epixeiro.gr on topics: Business & Know-how – sales & marketing.

He is an elected member of the prefectural governing committee of the Dodecanese of the New Republic and is responsible for strategic planning and communication. At the same time, he has been elected a member of the local council of Rhodes in the municipal elections of May 26, 2019.
