Patience
They waited,
and saw their authenticity
others saw her too.
The impatient self is lost,
the frightened self is gone,
the cowardly self disappeared,
the lost self
absent in the present.
Patience killed selfishness,
they celebrated its decay
after they experienced it first.
Patience gave birth to hope
and set them free
they escaped the labyrinth of passion
they found the middle of the truth,
ignored greed,
they avoided the fallacy
and, then, the inaccessible
became affordable.
