The economic crisis we have experienced in recent years forces thousands of young scientists to leave their homeland to find work abroad and fulfill their dreams there. Thus, the brain drain begins in foreign countries, which urgently need scientists. And Greece is starting exports... Among these young people is the son of Ephrosyn, who is now experiencing, along with thousands of other parents, the pain of her child's involuntary immigration. Poetry stood beside her as a helper, so that she could endure the pain of alienation and get rid of what was tormenting her. She records experiences, thoughts, feelings, anxieties, dreams and everything else that touches her and sensitizes her to the future and the problems of the new generation. Thus, he finds and breathes oxygen in the suffocation of the crisis...

Efrosyny Theofanidou was born, grew up and lives in Thessaloniki. He is a graduate of the Department of English Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Athens University of Applied Sciences. As a teacher, she served for thirty-four years in Public Secondary Education, in High and High Schools, from the position of head and director of schools. In this capacity, he organized many cultural events. On its own initiative, the twinning of the Thessaloniki High School with the Polis Chrysochous High School of Cyprus was carried out. She is married and has two children and two grandchildren.
The change in the course of her dreams, after her son's involuntary immigration and her regret for the unfulfilled desires of hers, have led her to write down lyrics, to get rid of all those thoughts and feelings that overwhelm her and tyrannize her . He is a member of the Union of Writers of Northern Greece. Her poems were published in the magazine "Mouson Melathron" and are included in poetry anthologies published by E.L.B.E.
