An exciting children's book about the importance of Greek culture!

Mrs. Greece was a clever teacher in possession of a sack of diamonds. Each diamond "hid" a great secret. With excessive mastery he "unfolded" the secrets of the diamonds, making the children adore every piece of information. Thus, without realizing it, they found themselves knowing when the Greek alphabet was created, where the Olympic Games began, what coins the ancient Greeks had, when the Parthenon was built, what the Republic was, who Plato and Aristotle were and all that. the great ones that make up Greece. An unexpected ending, however, puts young and old in concern! Will Lady Greece succeed in fulfilling her purpose?

Author Biography

Η Vanessa Makri was born in August 1987 in Tyrnavos, she has married her childhood sweetheart and they have 2 wonderful sons... She is a graduate of the Philosophy School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. For the last 13 years, he has been teaching special philological courses to elementary, middle and high school students. They are definitely her driving force as they inspired her to experiment with writing. She teaches the Greek language, history and culture to immigrant children. He has attended several dyslexia seminars and undertakes the training of students with ADHD. She loves literature and poetry (she made her first attempt at writing poems at 16)... She dreams of a world full of empathy, hope and beautiful books... (Her dream is to pass on the wonderful world of books to students with visual impairments, through their transport in Braille).

Did you know that... a new and promising book is coming, with the "diamonds of Mrs. Greece" motivating children to travel to the distant past, discovering everything that makes up the history and culture of our country? A great undertaking, especially in the troubled times we live in... The author of the book - a "diamond" character herself - through a wonderful and imaginative story emphasizes the responsibility that all of us adults (especially teachers) have to teach children to they appreciate the value of knowledge of the past, thus building a love for Greek culture.
