The Devil Sang the Blues

I was born on the 5th of January, a Thursday. It wasn't until 1984 that it broke my streak to 5, but it's still my lucky number. I didn't become a ballerina, I didn't become an actress and I didn't become a singer. I decided to be all of these and more at the stormy age of 15, when I barely - the truth is - remember where my school used to go (hello my old teachers!), but devoured the novels like slurps. I volunteered at publishers, at magazines as a book reviewer, and overcame my stage fright by introducing other authors at events.
"Without a Stage" is my first novel and takes place in Paris in the 1930s.
"The Devil Sang the Blues" is my second novel. After much thought I realized that I am a writer-time traveler after all and it would be a shame not to make use of it, and so, for the time being, everything I have written and is under publication is about another country, another era.
I've got 4 cats and I'm forcing myself not to get any more, I hate diets and I do everything, I love Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift (the whole Exarchia and Dublin neighborhood has figured it out) and the best part of my day is on the couch with a slice of pizza and watching talent shows with my husband. And when I write I can be a bit abrupt, forgive me.
