Vangelis Ladopoulos was born and raised in Thessaloniki. He finished high school and then studied Pedagogical Sciences. He did postgraduate studies in education at the Hellenic Open University and worked for twenty-eight years as a teacher. He collaborated with the General Secretariat of Adult Education (G.G.E.E.) teaching vulnerable social groups.
He wrote articles, mainly of an educational content, which were published in newspapers and magazines, and in 1989 he published his first book (essay) with the title "Dimitria, an institution in time" (published by Vanias). In the same year, the "Basic Adult Education Courses" (Functional Literacy) were released by G.G.E.E. In 2016, his book "Once upon a time we hoped for... a dream" (published by Stamoulis), which includes short stories, was released. In 2017, his book "Strange journey of life", a novella (published by Stamoulis) was published.
He has two children, Dimitris-Alexandros and Despina-Evangelia.
